Shamrock Inn

Shamrock Inn, Hartley

This wonky old inn was built in the 1860s. There would have been plenty of travellers in the region at that time, with the gold rush being in full swing.

It's also time we rushed a little further along our trip.

  1. I am glad you stopped long enough to take these pictures before rushing on. Nice details. Is the building still in use?

  2. Hi Paul, some of the buildings are still in use but not this one. Its life seems to be slowly draining away.
